My driver is speeding, what can I do?
Safety First. Ensure your own safety by fastening your seatbelt and remaining calm.
Politely Request: Politely ask the driver to slow down and express your concern about the speed. Sometimes, drivers may not be aware of their speed.
Report During the Ride: Use the TourchRide app to report the issue immediately. You can do this by tapping the “Safety” button during the ride and providing details about the situation.
End the Ride: If you feel unsafe and the driver continues to speed despite your request, you have the option to end the ride safely and exit the vehicle at the nearest safe location. Make sure to report the issue to TourchRide immediately.
Are you available at the airport?
Yes. Download Tourch and start riding.
I live in Houston, can I book a ride to Dallas?
Yes, you can. With Tourch cities you can book rides out of town, if you prebook at least 24 hours before your trip. This will give us time to match you with the right driver. If you have an emergency and need to go out of town immediately, contact Customer Service and we will try to accomodate you.
Are you available in other States?
No. We are only available in Texas for now. However, you can help us expand into other markets by downloading, referring users and getting the word out.

How long is the trial period?
90 Days.
Will my rides be limited during the trial period?
No. You will have full access to all available app features.
Will access to Customer Service be limited during the trial period?
No. Tourch will always provide the best possible service to all users.
Why do you have a trial period?
We believe in providing a flexible model for our drivers. The trial period will give drivers the chance to use all our earning models and decide what’s best for them.
How much is my membership?
$299/month.
How do I pay my membership fee?
Your membership fee is due upon signing up as a member and every 30 days after that
Can I pay yearly?
Yes. You can pay yearly and save 10%
Will I pay a membership fee if I don’t accept any rides?
Your membership fee is due upfront each month. However, if you are unable to drive after you pay, contact Customer Service to make arrangements so that we can accommodate your specific situation.
I don’t have a car. Can I rent a car with Tourch?
Yes. You can rent a car with Tourch. Contact Customer Service so that we can accommodate your specific needs.
Can I pay my membership fee in installments?
Membership fees are due at once.
Can I apply paid membership amounts to another account?
No. Memberships cover only one account
Is it possible to take my membership fee out of the rides I provide until the full amount is paid?
No. If you feel that the membership fee is too restrictive, we encourage you to use the Commission option.
Do you take a portion of tips?
No. At Tourch we believe that drivers should always retain 100% of ALL tips.
I didn’t drive enough to justify a subscription, is there another option?
Yes. You can drive under our Commission option.
Who pays for my insurance?
Drivers pay for their insurance.
What are the benefits of the membership option?
The membership options gives drivers the ability to earn even more money.
I paid the $299 membership fee, which services can I provide?
You can accept any ride that appears in your queue.
I paid the $299 membership fee; can I switch to the non-Membership option?
Yes. We believe in giving drivers the flexibility to drive their way.
Which insurance coverage should I purchase?
In order to drive, you must obtain a full coverage policy.
Will Tourch provide commercial insurance coverage?
Tourch always maintains additional insurance, but all drivers should purchase insurance to protect themselves, their passengers and their vehicles.
Uber and Lyft provide commercial insurance coverage, why does Tourch not do the same?
At Tourch we believe in giving drivers the ability to earn 30% more than they do on other apps. For that reason, we expect drivers to maintain the proper insurance at all times.
Does Tourch cover injuries to passengers and drivers?
No. Tourch always maintains additional insurance, but all drivers should purchase insurance to protect themselves, their passengers and their vehicles.
Will my personal insurance cover any injuries or damages?
No. Drivers must call their insurers to obtain rideshare insurance.

Yes, we encourage you to share your trip details with a friend or family member for added safety.
Are there any items that are prohibited in Tourch vehicles?
For the safety and comfort of all, do not bring weapons, drugs, or open alcohol containers into Tourch vehicles.
How can I confirm the identity of my driver before the ride?
Use Tourch’s Safety Center to verify the identity of the driver and the vehicle before getting into the car. For Tourch Ladies trips, also verify your identity in the app.
What should I do if I need special assistance during my ride with Tourch?
Notify your driver if you require wheelchair assistance or any other form of help to access the vehicle.
What is expected of me during my Tourch ride?
During your ride, always wear your seatbelt, be courteous to your driver, notify them of any preferences, be vigilant of your surroundings, and do not engage in harassment or use prohibited substances in the vehicle.
